Warren Logan, Sr., age 94 of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at his home in Morrisville. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Mr. Logan lived in Levittown for45 years prior to moving to Yardley 19 years ago.
Prior to his retirement Mr. Logan was employed as a Station Manager with the Pennsylvania Railroad and Amtrak in Philadelphia and Trenton for 38 years. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Navy. A longtime, and very active, member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Bristol, as well as the Christian Businessmen Association. Warren had the distinction to be named to the Pennsylvania Hall of Fame for Railroaders in the Railroad Museum. He enjoyed golfing and fishing, playing softball (until the age of 88), bowling, as well as spending the Winters in Florida and the Summers in the Poconos.
Son of the late Harold M. and Goldie (Hahn) Logan, and husband of the late Ida “Marge” (Pinkerton) Logan, to whom he was married for 70 years, he is survived by his daughter Deborah Horton of Erie, PA, a son and daughter-in-law Warren, Jr. and Pam Logan of Morrisville, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 7-9 PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 11 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, 250 Green Lane, Bristol, PA 19007. Friends may call from 10-11 AM at the church.
His interment, with military honors, will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
