May 5, 1961 — August 30, 2020

Levittown, PA

Robin B. Martin of Levittown, PA passed away on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2020 at St. Mary Medial Center, Langhorne, PA.  Robin was a young 59 years of age.

Born in Burlington, VT, she became the most beloved daughter of John H. Jr. and Betty J. (Tomlinson) Lebegern.  Robin began working at NJM in Trenton while in high school.  She graduated from Morrisville High School, Morrisville, PA, in 1979.  After Marrying Michael T. Martin, she began her years as a special aide helper in the Pennsbury Elementary School program.  Manor and Penn Valley elementary Schools enjoyed her special presence.  She also did house cleaning work in addition to her school work.

She was a constant and compassionate caregiver to her family and friends.  Robin enjoyed having friends and being a friend.  Her skills were multiple and she was a “go-to-girl” with her know how.  Her love of animals, especially dogs, is well known.  As a young widow, she assumed her role in life as a single parent.

Robin is survived by her daughter, Amy Alvino (Jay), and son Kyle Thomas.  She happily was “Grammy” to James Michal Alvino and Joseph Nicolas Alvino.  She is also survived by her brother David J. Lebegern of Canadensis, Pa and his son, Daniel F. Lebegern.  Her mother, Betty J. Lebegern has resided with her for many happy years.  Surviving also are many Martin and Lebegern relatives.

Robin was a member of the Morrisville United Methodist Church.  A memorial service for her will be held in the near future.

In lieu of flowers, condolences in Robin’s name may be made to a local animal rescue shelter or to the A.S.P.C.A.
