Condolences to Roberts wife and son and to all the Doyle family on his death.
[Some of you will remember that half a century ago Robert and I shared the basement in Levittown for the summer of 1970. He had just returned from service in Vietnam and despite what must have been an extremely traumatic experience he retained his sense of good humour.]
I will always remember him with great affection and was very saddened to hear of his death.
Ar Dheis De go raibh a h-anam.
[Gaelic : May his soul rest at the right hand of God]
Love to you all from cousin Malachy Larkin.

My deepest condolences. I had the pleasure of serving in Vietnam with Bob during 1968-1969 as a fellow Platoon Commander. I remember him for his quick wit, friendly attitude, and overall good nature and a great pilot.

Rose, our deepest sympathy to you, Bobby and family due to Bob’s passing. He will always be remembered as a kind, witty and humorous friend. An Irishman by heart, an all round good fellow and remembered by his colleagues as a great pilot. We wish you peace and strength during this time.
