Robert L. Cooper, Jr.

Robert L. Cooper, Jr., age 77 of Levittown, PA, son of the late Robert L. Sr. and Etta (Horn) Cooper

transitioned peacefully on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Jefferson Bucks Hospital in Langhorne, PA.  Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mr. Cooper has lived in Levittown for the past 53 years.

Robert graduated from St Thomas More High School in Philadelphia and attended St. Joseph’s University.  In 2018, Robert graduated from the Calvary Bible Institute.  He was a proud Airforce Veteran and worked as an accountant, for American Can Company, Budd Company, and finally for the Philadelphia Inquirer, where he retired.  Robert was an active member of the Calvary Full Gospel Church in Fairless Hills, where he volunteered doing accounting services and worked in the bookstore and also served as a greeter.  An avid reader, he especially enjoyed studying the Bible.  He also loved cooking, playing chess, working around the house and spending time with his family.

Robert is survived by his children, Aurora (Victor) Young of Tulsa, OK; Robert L. III (Bakiya) of Trevose, PA; Annette Cooper, Levittown, PA and his siblings, Avis (Bill) of Berwyn, PA; Valerie Grant of Framingham, MA; Michael Cooper, of Tulsa, OK; Tony (Kandice) Cooper of Bear, DE; seven grandchildren; grandfather of the late Rachel Ora Cooper; one great grandchild (with another on the way) and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life service at 11 AM on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Calvary Full Gospel Church, 676 Lincoln Highway, Fairless Hills, PA  19030.  The Reverend David Farina, Pastor, will officiate.  His interment will follow at Ivy Hill Cemetery in Philadelphia.

Friends may call Friday, Jan. 28th from 10-11 AM at the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
