Richard Thomas Parker

Richard Thomas Parker, age 74 of Doylestown, PA passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at his home.  Born in Lansdale, PA, Richard lived in Doylestown (Plumstead Twp) for the past 22 years.

Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed landscaper for over 40 years.  A proud Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, he enjoyed the outdoors, and was especially fond of landscaping.  He loved driving around his slingshot and four-wheel drive vehicles, traveling in his RV, and playing billiards.

Son of the late Warren Parker, and father of the late Jonathan Parker, he is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Kathleen (Roller) Parker, his mother Marion (Dettra) Ullrich of Sellersville, PA, his son and daughter-in-law Michael and Holly Parker of Stowe, PA, his daughter Melissa "Missy" Parker-Ziga of Fountainville, PA, a stepson  Thomas (and wife Debi) Didio of Hatboro, a stepbrother Stephen (and wife Linda) Ullrich, a stepsister Eileen (and husband Rick) Robinson, six grandchildren McKenna and Ella Parker, Trevor and Spencer Ziga, and Thomas, Jr. and Alycia Didio (and her partner James Alleva) and one great grandson James Alleva.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 12 Noon on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  His interment, with Military Honors, will follow at 1:30 PM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.

His viewing will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 11 AM until 12 Noon at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel.
