Raymond James Neary

Raymond James Neary, age 76 of Doylestown, PA, died on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at his home. Born in Trenton, NJ, Mr. Neary lived in Morrisville, PA before moving to Doylestown 35 years ago. Raymond was a graduate of Morrisville High School. He had been employed as a mechanic for the National Guard for 12 years, owned and operated several lunch trucks for 10 years, and lastly was the manager of Burlington Lanes for 5 years. He loved auto racing. He owned and drove the #21 modified stock car. He still holds the record at Harmony Speedway. He was an avid Phillies fan. Mr. Neary enjoyed country music and oldies, and played the guitar and sang in his band called “Ray and the Gents”. Son of the late Raymond H. and Margaret (Tracey) Neary and grandfather of the late Lauren Emilie, he is survived by his wife of 46 years, Phyllis “Pam” (Mason) Neary, a daughter and son-in-law Jeannette and James Siegfried of Perkasie, PA, a son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Sherry Emilie of Myrtle Beach, SC, a sister Mary Hughes of Sarasota, FL, and six grandchildren, Jessica, Connor, Avery and Ryan Siegfried and Melissa and Mason Emilie. Private graveside services were held on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at Morrisville Cemetery, entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
