Patty Jo (Murphy) Zackowski

Patty Jo Zackowski, age 75 of Yardley, PA passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023 at Holy Redeemer Hospital, Meadowbrook, PA.  Born in Connellsville, PA, Patty Jo lived in Croydon and Langhorne before moving to Yardley 40 years ago.

Prior to her retirement, Patty Jo worked as a real estate conveyancer with Prudential Fox and Roach in Yardley for 20 years.  She was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Morrisville. Patty Jo loved to spend time making holiday wreaths.  She enjoyed going on cruises, especially to the Caribbean and Cozumel, Mexico.  Most of all, she was fond of spending time with her husband and family and enjoying their Sunday dinners.

Daughter of the late Richard and Margaret (Legnosky) Murphy, she is survived by her loving husband John H. Zackowski, Sr., her son John H. Zackowski, Jr. of Yardley, two sisters and a brother-in-law Carolyun Murphy-Drumm of Mays Landing, NJ and Kathy and Joseph Wiegner of Maryland, a brother Richard Murphy of Warrington, PA, her grandson Jason N. Zackowski of Yardley and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 10 – 11:30 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  Her memorial service will follow at 11:30 AM.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Mrs. Zachowski’s name, may be made to the American Diabetes Association, www.diabetes.org.
