Monica "Fay" Faith Brown, age 75 of Trenton, NJ, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Capital Health Hopewell Campus. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Fay lived in Trenton for the past 10 years, moving there from Poughkeepsie, NY, where she spent over 30 years.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a nursing aid at Eden Park Hospital in Poughkeepsie for 15 years. Mrs Brown loved her Lord, and was a very active member of the Rehoboth Pentecostal Church in Trenton. Among her varied interests, Fay enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and listening to Gospel Music.
Daughter of the late Hermine Brown, she is survived by her five children, Janet D. Peck and Olivene Wedderburn of Trenton, NJ, Lavern Cardoza and Mark Garrell of Poughkeepsie, NY, and Sheffine Garrell of Newburgh, NY, two sisters Jennifer and Dorothy Spalding of Brooklyn, NY one brother Andrew Spalding of Brooklyn, NY, 21 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
