Margie A. (Jura) Ward

April 8, 1932 ~ November 6, 2020 (age 88)

Obituary

Margie Ann Jura Ward, daughter of Joseph Jura and Anna Pientak, was born on April 8, 1932 in Chicago, IL and survived her four siblings Joseph, Beatrice, Julie and Arthur.  In her death on November 6, 2020 Margie was predeceased by her son Mark and is survived by her children Gregory, Cynthia, Pamela and Patricia.

Margie treasured her visits and phone calls with her grandchildren especially when milk shakes, outings, games and puzzles were involved. She was grateful for her friends at the ever welcoming community who live at the Morrisville Presbyterian Apartments.

Margie was a realtor with Century 21 in Wilton, CT and in New Hampshire.  Later, she worked as a Therapist Aide at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in NH.  Margie was a masterful mover.  Having relocated back and forth across the country as a corporate spouse, she knew how to purge and prepare. She spent much of the last year readying for her last pack-out.

Our family wishes to share our gratitude for the tremendous care Margie received through Senior Care LIFE at Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic (formerly Life St. Mary’s).  Margie advocated for herself to get into this comprehensive and coordinated geriatric care program and benefitted from their professionalism during the last 7 years of her life.

Donations in Margie’s memory may be made to Morrisville Compassionate Care Fund, HumanGood Pennsylvania, 2000 Joshua Rd., Lafayette Hill, PA  19444.   This fund supports low income residents who reside at the Morrisville Presbyterian Apartments in easing their living needs, which are not covered by insurance.  In Margie’s case she received a lightweight portable oxygen concentrator.

In keeping with her wishes a Catholic mass will be held in Margie’s name on New Year’s Day 2021.
