Linda Ann Paxson, age 79 of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Markley Nursing Home in Norristown, PA.
Born in Nazareth, PA, she lived in Nazareth until 1967, when she moved to Morrisville, PA. Linda was employed as a medical technologist, instructor, then lab manager in her career with St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton, NJ for over 30 years. While maintaining a successful career, she lived her ultimate calling as a great mom, loving wife and adoring grandmother. She was deeply dedicated to her family but also helped others as a longtime member of the Morrisville United Methodist Church and spending her free time knitting scarves for people in need.
Daughter of the late Harold and Emma (Beers) Rinker and wife of the late Herman Paxson, she is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Patti and Larry Hammer of Fairless Hills, PA, Katie and Ken Hammaker of Mechanicsburg, PA and Lisa Paxson and Joseph Arnold of Plymouth Meeting, PA, a sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Robert Kostenbader of Reading, PA, six grandchildren Aaron and Kaylin Hammer, Kevin and Emily Hammaker and Lindy and Paxson Arnold, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. The Rev. Towanda Connelly, Pastor of the Morrisville United Methodist Church, will officiate. Her interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.
Friends may call on Oct. 6th from 9-11 AM at the funeral chapel.
