Joseph F. Duso

Joseph F. Duso, age 87 of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, PA.  Born in Altona, NY, Mr. Duso was a longtime Morrisville resident.  He was a proud Airforce Veteran, serving in Vietnam, and retired from the military following over 20 years of service.

Joseph was a very active member of the Morrisville Senior Servicecenter.  He was a farmer at heart, who liked to garden and enjoyed the outdoors.  Mr. Duso loved to go fishing and hunting.

Son of the late J. Charles and Anna Reyell Duso, and husband of the late Regina (Banger) Duso, he is survived by his daughter Rita M. Gelli of Bristol, PA, a sister Mildred Hagan of Syracuse, NY, 2 brothers and a daughter-in-law Donald and Janice Duso of Stuart, FL and Carl Duso of TX, 2 grandchildren and their spouses John Francis and Kathleen Lynch and Maura and Kevin Brighter, 5 great grandchildren Mary, Christopher and Kaitlyn Lynch and Kevin Brighter, Jr. and Grace Brighter, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his committal services with military honors on Friday, Oct. 4, 2019 at 12:30 PM in the Chapel at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd., Wrightstown, NJ  08562.
