R.I.P. Joe. You are a true friend of mine for life. I was treated like a family member by your parents and like a brother to you when I lived in Philadelphia years ago. It was also a pleasure to meet your wife Jocelyn. We liked our "muscle cars". We did a lot of things together and had many great memories. You were always there for me when I needed help with something especially working on our cars. God bless you and may His perpetual light shine upon you. Jerry Lucas

I am shocked and greatly saddened to hear of Joe's death. I knew him from a radio club I used to belong to. He always had a smile on his face, and a cheerful demeanor, and a generous heart. One time I was eying a expensive phonograph someone was selling, but I didn't have enough money on hand to buy it. Joe came over, talked me up and offered to lend me the difference. Mind you I didn't really know him at that time. I thanked him, but told him i better not, or my wife might lock me out of the house! We both had a good laugh over that. You will be missed. RIP

My sincere condolences to Jocelyn and Mrs. Cro. I've known Joe for 50 years and I never saw him without a smile on his face. We shared many interests and I enjoyed reading, watching, and listening to his collection of automotive literature, videos, and recordings as well viewing his many receivers and transceivers. A great guy and friend. Joe will be missed.

I was fortunate enough to have met Joe in grade school and became friends. Whenever Joe was in the group his interesting, colorful persona and hilarious stories was usually the night's highlight. Very saddened to have lost such a nice kind interesting man. God Bless You Joe and Thank You.

It is with great sadness that I learn of the passing of my 'brother' Joe. I will never forget the conversations and visits that we shared over the course of many years. May godspeed find him to his eternal rest and all of us take solace knowing that his suffering has concluded! My deepest condolences to Jocelyn, and his mother. The world has become much emptier now! ...-.-
