Jean P. (MacMillan) Shea

Jean P. Shea, age 94, of Fairless Hills, PA, passed away peacefully into eternal life on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Crestview Center in Langhorne, PA.  Born in Portland, ME, Jean lived for 51 years in Southwest Philadelphia before moving to Fairless Hills in 1998.

Jean was a loving wife and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother of all trades. Her 'can do' attitude began as a wartime Rosie the Riveter. Jean enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting and ceramics. For almost 15 years she was the craft instructor at St. Vincent's Home for Unwed Mothers.

Daughter of the late George and Rose (Phillips) MacMillan, Jean is preceded in her death by her husband Charles, a son Peter, a daughter Patricia Anne, a grandson Joseph and five brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Joseph) Coleman of Conshohocken, PA, Rose Marie Seekamp of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Charles (Grace) Shea of Levittown, PA, Dennis (Nancy) Shea of Media, PA, and Daniel Shea of Jacksonville, FL, and her sister Helen (Thomas) Conley of Portland, ME.  Jean is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her Funeral Mass at 11 AM on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Morrisville, PA.  Her interment will follow in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Delaware County, PA.
