We had the pleasure of getting to know Mr Gafgen during the run up to the Morrisville Bicentennial celebrations, when he was creating the statue of Robert Morris. It was clear that he was a brilliant sculpture, but also a man of integrity who cared deeply about the future of his town and the welfare of his neighbors. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

In High School I was a art class with Jimmy and had Mr Levitt for a teacher...Jimmy had a talent that started and flourished there.
He had a wonderful personalty, great smile and had a great sense of humor too... his hands in sculptures and art will be enjoyed by all that knew him,
God Bless you Jimmy

Jim was a great classmate and a genius sculptor. He will always be remembered. He is in heaven now, doing more sculpting.
