Howard James Pyle

Howard James Pyle, age 90 of Washington Crossing, Pa passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Trenton, Nj, he was a resident of Hamilton, NJ for 20 years before moving in with family in Washington Crossing over the last year.

Mr. Pyle was a proud Army veteran from 1952 to 1954 and was a department of sanitation manager for the city of Trenton for 38 years before his retirement. He loved to play baseball and soccer, enjoyed taking walks and meeting his friends at Fred & Pete’s deli in Mercerville.

Son of the late Daniel and Margaret (Teehan) Pyle; husband of the late Dorothy Ann (Baldwin) Pyle; father of the late James and Jarrett Pyle. Howard is survived by his children; Karen and Michael of Washington Crossing, PA and Lisa of Tampa, Fl; as well as 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services for Mr. Pyle will be held Wednesday at 9am, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Bucks County Pa. 830 Highland Road Newtown, Pa 18940.
