Edith (Bedi) Meszaros

Edith Meszaros, age 87 of Pennington, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Chandler Hall Health Services in Newtown.  Born in Szakony, Hungary, she lived in Trenton before moving to Pennington 58 years ago.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Princeton University Library Rare Book Department.  She had been a school teacher in her native Hungary.  Edith was an avid gardener who enjoyed raising her own flowers and vegetables.  She was also fond of cooking and baking, but most of all enjoyed raising her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Susanne “Susan” Meszaros (Frank Rokob) of Asbury, NJ and Annette M. Noll of Yardley, a sister Charlotte “Sari” Boros of Szakony, Hungary, a brother Miklos Bedi of Sopron, Hungary, three grandchildren Eric (Kaitlyn) Noll, and Brian and Megan Noll, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her services will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Hungary.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in Edith’s name, be made to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
