Doris Pattley

Doris Pattley, age 87 of Trenton, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family and friends.  Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident of Trenton and Hamilton, NJ.

Doris was both a Phillies and Eagles fan. In her younger years, she was a season ticket holder for the Eagles. When football season was over, she would travel to Florida to see her sister and watch the Philles in their spring training. Doris was a devoted associate of Shoprite, working for over 50 years in several supermarket chains before retiring.

Daughter of the late Harry and Geraldine (Groover) Pattley, she is survived by her cherished siblings, Martha Pattley of Plant City, FL and Thomas Pattley of Yardley, PA; as well as her beloved nephews, Thomas Pattley Jr. and wife Kimberly of Morrisville, PA, and Scott Pattley and his fiancé Johanna Tanzi of Jackson, NJ and great-newphews, TJ Patley and wife Germaine of Beverly, NJ and Daniel Pattley and wife Alli of Chicago, IL and their daughter Autumn. Matthew Pattley predeceased his great-aunt but was never forgotten.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel. Monsignor John Eckert will be officiating. Her entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Trenton, NJ.

Relatives and friends may gather prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM on Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
