Dennis W. Fretz, age 89 of Yardley, PA passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Statesman Health and Rehabilitation Center, Levittown, PA. Born in Silverdale, PA, Mr. Fretz lived in Yardley since 1967.
Dennis was a graduate of Sell-Perk High School, Class of 1950, where he was an athlete and standout football player. He then earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Drexel University. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Fretz was employed as a CPA with McGraw-Hill for over 30 years. Dennis was also a proud Army Veteran. An active member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Yardley, he was an avid reader and a sports enthusiast. He enjoyed playing golf and tennis, as well as rooting for his favorite teams, the Eagles and Phillies.
Son of the late Wilmer and Alice (Wenhold) Fretz, he is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Evelyn (Wimmer) Fretz, his daughter Michele Terrault of Yardley, a sister Kay Rhoades of Coopersburg, PA and a grandson, Bradley Terrault of Levittown, PA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mr. Fretz's memorial service on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 12:30 PM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1203 Pine Grove Rd, Yardley, PA 19067. An interment with military honors will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
