David Russell Kownacky

December 30, 1953 ~ December 4, 2012 (age 58) 58 Years Old


David Russell "Russ" Kownacky, age 58 of Morrisville, PA died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in Morrisville. Born in Trenton, NJ, Russ was a lifelong Morrisville resident.

He was employed as the Building Maintenance Assistant Crew Chief with E.T.S. in Princeton for 25 years. Mr. Kownacky was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Morrisville. Russ was an avid disc golf player, fisherman, and bowler. He enjoyed building and flying radio controlled airplanes, camping, and going on nature hikes with his wife, daughters and dogs.

Son of the late George and Anna Mae (Nutt) Kownacky, he is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years Margaret Mary Kownacky, two daughters Melanie and Jenna Kownacky, a brother Michael T. Kownacky and his life partner Ted Otten of Yardley, several brothers and sisters inlaw as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his memorial mass at 11 AM on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA. Interment will be held privately, at the convenience of the family.

Friends may call Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. (
