Daniel Mr. J. Petryszak

Daniel J. Petryszak, age 64, of Yardley, PA, died peacefully on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at his home. Born in Morgantown, W. VA, he lived in Morrisville before moving to Yardley 31 years ago. Mr. Petryszak was employed as a teacher in the Bensalem School District for 38 years. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in Army Intelligence. He was a member of both the Morrisville American Legion and the Morrisville V.F.W. For 15 years, Mr. Petryszak was the football coach at Bensalem High School, as well as the Girls Softball and Girls Basketball Coach. He was instrumental in starting the Babe Ruth League in the area, and helped in the design of Macclesfield Park in Lower Makefield.Son of the late Samuel and Suzana (Saluga) Petryszak, and brother of the late Christopher and Charles Petryszak, he is survived by his wife Jean L. (Reustle) Petryszak, a son and daughter in law Bryan D. Petryszak, DMD. and his wife Molly of Portville, NY, his brother Samuel "Buddy" Petryszak of Whitefish, Montana, a nephew Andy (and wife Maggie) Blazer, and two grandsons, Nathan and Luke Petryszak.Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his Funeral Mass at 10 AM on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Big Oak and Makefield Rds., Yardley, PA. Entombment in Arlington National Cemetery will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Oct. 20, 2012 from 9-10 AM at the church.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Daniel's name be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society at National MS Society, Greater Delaware Valley Chapter, 30 S. 17th Street, Suite 800, Philadelphia, PA 19103 or to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O.
