After serving in the Merchant Marines he settled in Southern California. He went to work as an insurance agent for the Auto Club of Southern California. Mr. Ramseyer was a person who loved the outdoors, his hobbies were gardening, fishing, and golfing. He was also avid reader and always had a novel close by. In his spare time he enjoyed watercolor painting and sports cars, especially corvettes and actually sold his Ferrari to Charlton Heston. Two years ago Dale and his wife of 30 years, Martha, moved to Yardley, PA to be close to his granddaughters.
