Anthony D. Guaragno

Anthony D. Guaragno, age 87, of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 28, 2019, surrounded by his loving family.  Mr. Guaragno was born on April 18, 1932, and raised in McKees Rocks, PA.  After getting married, he moved to Morrisville where he has resided for over fifty years.

Mr. Guaragno was a proud Veteran of the United States Coast Guard.  He served during the Korean War.  Mr. Guaragno was also a Field Service Engineer with C.V. Hill Refrigeration for over thirty years.   In his free time, he enjoyed “tinkering,” photography, tracking the weather, and woodworking.   He could repair and build just about anything.   Anthony is best known for his sense of humor and being a sharp dresser.  Anthony loved his family and Italian food especially his wife’s cooking.

Anthony is the son of the late Patrick and Anna (Feolo) Guaragno.  He is survived by his loving wife, Marie (Hartley) Guaragno; a daughter, Kimberly and her husband David Shugar of Levittown, PA; and two sons, Kenneth and his wife Amy Guaragno of Spring Grove, PA; and Daniel and his wife Alyssa Guaragno of Southampton, PA.  Anthony was also blessed with twelve grandchildren:  Danielle (Timothy), Mark (Brittany), Christine (Matthew), Samuel, Benjamin, Nicholas, Stephen, Luke, Thomas, Simon, Patrick, and Kirsten; and three great-grandchildren:  Raymond, Ryan, and Anthony; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his Funeral Mass at 11 am on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, Morrisville, PA 19067.   Anthony’s Interment will follow at the Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Family and friends may call Wednesday, July 31, 2019, from 6 – 8 pm, and on Thursday, August 1, 2019 from 9:30 – 10:30 am at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 West Trenton Avenue, Morrisville, PA 19067.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions, in Anthony’s name, be made to either Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church or Holy Trinity Catholic School, Stockham and Osborne Avenue, Morrisville, PA 19067.
