Anthony Gene DeCanzio, Jr.

Anthony Gene DeCanzio, Jr., age 73 of Langhorne, PA, died on Friday, September 13, 2019 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne.  Born in Vineland, NJ, Mr. DeCanzio lived in Morrisville, PA for over 10 years before moving to Langhorne 2 years ago.

Prior to his retirement, He was employed with the West Amwell School District for 21 years, serving as the Superintendent of Schools.  He was a former parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Morrisville, and currently at Queen of the Universe Roman Catholic Church in Levittown.  Mr. DeCanzio was a member of the Knights of Columbus, who enjoyed the beach, especially Seaside Heights, playing Pinochle, and cooking Sunday dinners.  Anthony was an avid Eagles and Phillies fan.

Son of the late Anthony G. Sr. and Phyllis (Daurio) DeCanzio, he is survived by his daughters Lynn (and Rich) McConnell of Haddon Twp., NJ and Katie R. DeCanzio (and John Julia) of Furlong, PA, his sons David (and Lisa) DeCanzio of Lafayette Hill, PA and Richard (and Lisa) DeCanzio of Fairless Hills, PA, and 4 grandchildren, Matthew and Meghan McConnell and Elyssa and Julian DeCanzio.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 11 AM on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2019 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave, Morrisville, PA.  Deacon Michael Scannella will officiate.

Friends may gather at the funeral chapel from 10-11 AM on Thursday.
