Virgen "Milagros" Maldonado Rivas

Virgen Milagros Maldonado Rivas passed in her Morrisville, Pennsylvania home on April 3, 2023 at the age of 69.

Daughter of the late Julio Maldonado and Lorenza Dolores Rivas, Milagros was born in Barranquitas, Puerto Rico on February 12, 1954. She is survived by her loving daughter Barbara Banegas and son-

in-law, David E Vazquez, four beautiful grandchildren: Nardialisse Rivera Banegas, Yexsiell Jose Vazquez Banegas, Estevan Antonio Vazquez Banegas, and Sebastian Andres Vazquez Banegas. She was a remarkable sister and will be missed by several nieces and nephews.

Milagros was a hard worker and often maintained more than one job. After earning her bachelor’s degree, she worked many years as an Administrator for the Department of Agriculture in Puerto Rico and later retired to enjoy her family. She enjoyed working and sewing in her spare time. She was a strong inspiration to those around her and fiercely loyal to those she loved.

Please join us for Milagros’ funeral service to be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 West Trenton Avenue, Morrisville, Pennsylvania. Father Charles Kennedy will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited to gather from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
