Emblem

Tom H. Miller, a member of the Morrisville community for over 50 years, departed this life on February 22, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving behind a legacy of service, music, and unwavering faith. Tom was born on February 12, 1932, in New Madison, Ohio, the second of two boys. His older brother, Joe H. Miller, passed away in the 1960’s.

For over fifty years, Tom and his wife, Karleen Ann Miller, called Morrisville, Pennsylvania, their home. Tom’s career as a paper salesman with National Cash Register was marked by dedication and excellence. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he served as an air traffic controller stationed in Nagoya, Japan during the Korean War. Prior to enlisting in the Air Force, Tom attended Miami University of Ohio.

Tom and his family attended Morrisville United Methodist Church, where he was active in the Choir and renowned for his annual “Bull Roasts”.

Beyond his professional and civic duties, Tom was an avid golfer, who especially enjoyed playing with his good friends, Pete Wisnosky, Dave Harris and Barry Vannauker.

Music was another profound love. Locally, Tom performed as a snare drummer with the Tri County Band and sang with the Men of Harmony. Tom also enjoyed performing twice a year with The Windjammers, a nationwide organization dedicated to the performance of Circus Music.

Tom was particularly proud of his involvement with the Salvation Army, serving on its local Board of Directors. Tom was also active in the Morrisville Rotary Club for many years and was a Paul Harris Fellow with that organization. He was a member of Newtown Masonic Lodge # 427 F. & A.M. and a member of the esteemed Lulu Shrine, each role reflecting his devotion to service. Among his proudest moments was the opportunity to chaperone his sons on Pennsbury Marching Band's trip to England in 1977.

He is lovingly remembered by his family: son Brad T. Miller and daughter-in-law Maria Luszcz; son Roger J. Miller and daughter-in-law Diane; grandchildren William (Carrie) Miller, and Brynn (James) Waas; and great-grandchildren Eddie and Jasper Miller and Luka Waas. Additionally, Tom shared a lifelong bond with his cousin, Margie Weeks, who was part of the tapestry of his life.

Tom is preceded in death by his wife, Karleen Ann Miller, his parents, Russell and Maude Hartle Miller, and his brother, Joe H. Miller.

As we reflect on the heartwarming memories and the profound impact Tom H. Miller had on all who knew him, let us celebrate a life beautifully lived, a life of purpose, kindness, and dedication. His spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of his family and community, reminding us of all the beauty of a life well-lived — a beacon of hope, friendship, and unwavering love.
