Stephen McNamara, age 93 of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Buckingham Valley Nursing Home, Buckingham, PA.
Born in Lisdoonvarna, County Clare, Ireland, Mr. McNamara has lived in Morrisville for over 50 years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a machine operator with General Motors Termsteadt for over 40 years. He was a proud Army Veteran of the Korean War and becoming an American citizen was truly a dream come true for him. Stephen was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Morrisville and a member of American Legion Posts #443 in Morrisville and # 317 in Yardley, as well as a founding member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Mnsgr. Crean Division # 1 in Trenton, NJ (the oldest division in New Jersey). He was also an avid fan of the Phillies and the Eagles.
Son of the late John and Bridget (Burns) McNamara and husband of the late Mary T. (Quine) McNamara, he is survived by his children, Maureen McNamara of Morrisville, Kevin (Mary) McNamara of Bristol, John (Chris) McNamara of Langhorne, Kathleen Woodward of Yardley and Stephen McNamara of Bristol Township, a sister-in-law Delia MacNamara of Ireland, 16 grandchildren, many beloved great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews in the U.S. Ireland, England, Canada and Australia.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA. The Rev. Monsignor John Eckert will officiate. His interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Stephen’s name, may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for
