Shirley (Warrell) Veltri, age 90, of Croydon, PA, died on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Silver Lake Nursing Home, Bristol Township, PA. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mrs. Veltri lived in Lawrenceville, NJ for 16 years before moving to Croydon 8 years ago.
Prior to her retirement, she had been employed with General Electric, Trane, and CBS. Mrs. Veltri enjoyed shopping and visiting with her many relatives.
Daughter of the late Earl and Eleanora (Walker) Warrell, and wife of the late Carmen Veltri, she is survived by her son David W. LaRue of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, 2 stepsons Alfred (and Joan) Veltri and Ralph (and Marianne) Veltri, of Lawrenceville, NJ, her stepdaughter Angie (and Chris) Veltri of Lawrenceville, 2 brothers Milton Warrell of Levittown and George Warrell of Morrisville, 4 sisters Eileen Garinger of Sugar Run, PA, Nellie Bell of Pittston, PA, Helen Blackshire of Levittown, PA, and June Harkins of Croydon. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and many, many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 1 PM on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. Her interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call Wednesday from 11:30 AM until service time at the funeral chapel.
