Sharon L. Anderson

Apr 14, 1947 — Jul 18, 2026

Perkasie, PA

Sharon Lee Anderson, 79, of Perkasie, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Sharon, affectionately known as "Gibby" to her family, was born in Bristol, Pennsylvania, to the late Anne and Joe Widmann. A lifelong resident of Morrisville, she graduated from Morrisville High School in 1964. In 1967, she married the love of her life, David, and together they raised a loving family and shared nearly six decades of marriage. After graduating from high school, Sharon attended Lawrence Academy of Beauty and became a licensed beautician. She later transitioned into banking, where she spent many years as Branch Manager of Bucks County Bank in Yardley, Pennsylvania, before retiring to Florida in 2012.

During her retirement, Sharon enjoyed traveling—whether exploring national parks with her husband, taking cruises with friends, or vacationing with her family. She had a passion for cooking and found great joy in preparing meals for her loved ones, often bringing family and friends together around the table. Sharon took great pride in caring for her family and was a gracious host who made every holiday, celebration, and gathering feel special. She was also known for her beautiful singing voice and was a longtime member of the choir at Morrisville Methodist Church. Among her favorite songs to sing were "The Lord's Prayer" and "I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked." She also had a great love for animals, especially the many cats she cared for over the years, and she adored her grand dogs. Those who knew her well will remember her love of shopping and thrifting, where she enjoyed searching for unique finds and unexpected treasures.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, David E. Anderson; her children, daughter Tara Anderson and her husband, Dylan Jones, and son David W. Anderson and his wife, Karen Anderson; her sister, Donna Berwick; her brother, Brian Widmann; her grandchildren, Nina, Eva, Eddie, Lily, Joel, and Ella; and her step-grandchildren, Nicole, Krystan, and Raechel. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who were fortunate to know her throughout her life.
