Rowland Charles Girton

Rowland Charles Girton, age 74, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 22, 2019 at his home.  Born in Morrisville, he had been a lifelong Morrisville resident.

Prior to his retirement in 2018, Mr. Girton was employed as a computer programmer with Media Management Services in Newtown for 18 years.  He was a member and Chief Engineer of the Yardley Makefield Fire Company and was a member of the Falls Township Fire Company.  Rowland also enjoyed visiting wineries and wine tasting.

Son of the late Rowland C. and Marie (Cassar) Girton, he is survived by his wife Kathleen (Paolella) Girton, four sons and daughters-in-law, Rowland T. and Ruth Girton of Carlisle, PA, Kenneth C. and Diana Girton of Levittown, PA, Gregory N. and Rosemarie Girton of Fairless Hills, PA, and Brian W. and Jennifer Girton of Levittown,  He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Alexa and Annelsye Krause-Girton, Tyler and Travis Kennedy, Kaitlyn, Bryan, Emily, Allisia, Nicholas and Riley Girton, and Kyla Battisti.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 11 AM on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at the Emilie United Methodist Church, 7300 New Falls Rd., Levittown, PA  19055.  The Rev. Dr. Michael Roberts will officiate.  His interment will be held privately.
