Romayne M. Steinbeiser

Romayne M. Steinbeiser, age 94, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016 at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown, PA. Born in Altoona, PA, she lived in Wilmington, DE before moving to the Morrisville area in 1959. Romayne was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member of the St. Theresa Guild, the Altar Guild, and also served as a counter for collections. Mrs. Steinbeiser was also a member of the Morrisville Senior Service Center. She enjoyed baking and loved playing Bingo. Along with several neighbors, she enjoyed playing "Royal Rummy".Daughter of the late Joseph and Geneva (Costlow) Harney, wife of the late John T. Steinbeiser, Jr., sister of the late Ida Resig, Helen Syroth, Eben Harney and Joseph Harney, and sister-in-law of the late Mary Helen Benson, she is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Geneva E. and Richard Frick of Newark, DE, Patricia Schell of Morrisville, PA, and Romayne and Edward Kucowski of Morrisville, four sons and a daughter-in-law John T. and Kay Steinbeiser of Newark, DE, Robert Steinbeiser of Morrisville, PA, Tim Steinbeiser of Lawrenceville, NJ, and Paul Steinbeiser of Frenchtown, NJ. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.Friends may call Monday evening from 6-9 PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067 (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com), and on Tuesday morning from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at Holy Trinity Church.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in the name of Mrs. Steinbeiser, be sent to Holy Trinity Church, 201 N.
