Regina M. Chury (dehner)

Regina M. Chury, age 83, of Yardley, PA died Tuesday, January 22, 2012 at St. Mary Medical Center, Middletown Township, PA. Born in Pittston, PA, she lived in Hughestown, PA before moving to Yardley 30 years ago.Mrs. Chury retired from working with the U.S. Government as an administrative assistant at the Tobyhanna Army Depot. She was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE), a former volunteer at St. Mary Medical Center, and a member of the Middletown Senior Citizens. Regina was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Yardley, who enjoyed being outdoors, especially working in her yard.Daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Baumgartner) Dehner, and wife of the late Edward Chury, she is survived by a sister Rosemary Groark of Fairless Hills, PA, a brother, Carl Dehner of Champion, MI, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her funeral mass at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 728 Big Oak Rd., Yardley, PA. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at St. Mary Assumption Cemetery, Hughestown, PAFriends may call Monday evening from 7-9 PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. John the Evangelist Church, 728 Big Oak Rd., Yardley, PA 19067.
