Rachel Ora Cooper, age 21 of Levittown, PA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Jeanes Hospital in Philadelphia.
Born in Philadelphia, Rachel lived in Trevose before moving to Levittown four years ago.
She was employed as a custodian at Carmel Elementary School in Philadelphia. Rachel enjoyed drawing and art and was an avid reader. She loved to grow plants, rescue animals, and listen to music. She was a hiking enthusiast. Rachel also enjoyed spending time with her family.
Rachel’s family has great solace in knowing that although her physical life has ended, she has transitioned to her heavenly life with the Lord. Rachel was introduced to the Lord at an early age, but over the course of the last year she made the decision to rededicate her life to God and display her faith publicly by getting baptized on September 5, 2021 at the Block Church Northeast.
Rachel’s family would like to give special thanks to Jenny and Bill Brown, Annette, Amanda and Bob (aka Pop-Pop) Cooper, Delilah, Aereus, Breon Clark, her boyfriend Charles Wilkerson, and Joe Ace for being a positive influence in Rachel’s life through her trying times.
Rachel is survived by her father and step-mother Robert L. Cooper III and Bakiya Cooper, her mother and step-father Tina G. Griffiths and Mark Hutchinson, three brothers Robert L. Cooper IV of Philadelphia, and Mekhi C. Cooper and Mishon F. Cooper of Bensalem, a nephew Mason L. Mainor of Philadelphia and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
