Pearl Mitchell (wildermuth)

Pearl Mitchell, age 82, of Southampton, PA, died Friday, February 08, 2013, at the Abington Hospice at Warminster. She was born and raised in Philadelphia before moving to Southampton, PA, 10 years ago.Pearl met Jim while employed as a welder and was his loving wife for 36 years and led a full life. She was first recognized in the newspaper as the youngest salesclerk in Woolworths and promoted quickly. She was a Bookkeeper, Supervisor, door to door Fuller Brushman, and a Sunday school bus driver for many years. She was a member of the North and Southampton Reformed Church in Churchville, PA and the Ben Wilson Senior Center. Pearl was extremely devoted to her grandchildren. Daughter of the late George and Pearl (Rose) Wildermuth, she is survived by her husband James Mitchell, a daughter Holly (Ludlow) Onofrio of Churchville, PA, a son William (and wife Lori) Ludlow of Holland, PA, a daughter in-law Joyce Ludlow of Doylestown. She has two brothers, George Rose and Frank Wildermuth, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.Calling hours will be held on Tuesday evening, February 12, 2013 from 7-9 PM and on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 9-10 AM at the North and Southampton Reformed Church, 1380 Bristol Rd., Churchville, PA 18966. Her funeral service will begin at 10 AM at the church, officiated by the Rev. Bethany Devos, Pastor.Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA.Flowers can be sent to the North and South Reformed Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions in Pearl's name be made to the North and Southampton Reformed Church at the above address.Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.
