It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Patrick J. Nothnagel, who left us on December 12, 2025. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Patrick was born to the late Betty (Houghton) and Henry Nothnagel in Philadelphia, and was a graduate of North Catholic High School. Patrick was a proud veteran who served in the Army as a police officer, stationed in Berlin, Germany. Upon completion of his military service, he earned a Bachelor's degree from La Salle University and was employed within the collections and accounts receivable industry for many years. He retired as Vice President of Sales for Levy Diamond Bello & Associates LLC and moved to the Bethany Beach area of Delaware. While his work was a source of pride and many friendships for him, those who truly knew him understood that his greatest accomplishments were not found in his career but rather in the love he had for his family, especially his grandchildren and grand dogs, who brought him immense joy and happiness. Patrick was a true character, and he had an undeniable spirit that could bring a smile and laughter to your day. He was kind hearted, loved donating to those in need at the local pantry, and was a member of the local VFW Post 7234. He is fondly remembered for his years of dedication to the St. Ignatius CYO Basketball Program, and took immense pride in his granddaughters continuing his legacy on the court.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 55 years, Nancy (Strenkowski) Nothnagel; his son, Henry Nothnagel; his daughter, Karen Klukososki and her husband Brian; his grandchildren, Kinley and Brynn Klukososki. He also leaves behind countless friends that became more like family over the years.
Visitation will be on December 18, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel , 41 W. Trenton Ave Morrisville, PA 19067. Mass will begin at 10 a.m., in the St. Ignatius of Antioch Roman Catholic Church in Yardley, PA 19067 Interment to follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Patrick's memory to The Ehe Foundation, 1561 HOPI CT, HOBART WI 54313-9515, USA
As we remember Patrick, let us hold onto the joys he brought into our lives, the warmth he spread, and the laughter we shared. He was more than just a husband, father, and friend; he was a beacon of light in our hearts, and we will carry him with us always.
