Olive M. DiMauro, age 87 of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at her home with her son by her side.
Born in Leechburg, PA, Mrs. DiMauro has lived in Morrisville for over 65 years, moving here from Apollo, PA. Through the years, she has worked at both Lit Brothers and Clover Department Stores in the shoe department, and at Lino’s Cleaners as a cashier. Most of all, however, she was a great mom devoted to raising her five children. An avid bowler, Olive also enjoyed, along with her late husband, camping and square dancing.
Daughter of the late Melvin A. and LaVerna V. (Salisbury) Smail, and wife of the late Orlando DiMauro, Olive is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law, John and Marion DiMauro of Martinsburg, PA, Vincent M. DiMauro of Morrisville, PA, Gary and Carol DiMauro of Newtown, PA, and Robert and Lynn DiMauro of Riegelsville, PA, a daughter and son-in-law Linda and Paul Errickson of Myrtle Beach, S.C., a brother and sister-in-law Alfred and Carol Smail of Upper Burrell, and two sisters Shirley Camp and Marjorie Henry both of Gilpin Township, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside service at 11 AM on Friday, January 8, 2020 at the Newtown Cemetery, Newtown, PA, entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions, in Olive’s name, be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, www.parkinson.org .
