May M. Maloof, age 74, of Yardley, PA, died on Monday, March 11, 219 at Arden Court, Yardley, PA. She was born on May 29, 1944 in New York City to the late Abraham and Bashiri Maloof.
May-May, as she was so affectionately known by her family, was a sweet, independent, camera-shy lady. For the past four years, she resided at Arden Courts ,Yardley,PA. but lived in Bergenfield,NJ. for most of her life.
It was at FDU, Teaneck,NJ where she earned her degree in Medical Lab. Technology. Subsequently she worked at Valley Hospital, Holy Name Hospital and other facilities. May was an officer in the Bergenfield Garden Club--needless to say, she had a green thumb. She volunteered many hours at the Bergenfield Library teaching English and ushered at Bergen PAC.
Her last companion dog was "April", who May said was the smartest dog she ever owned. May's loyal friend, Florence, adopted April when May moved to Arden Courts. Sadly, April died recently; now both dog and May are united in heaven.
May is survived by her brother Thomas, brother Richard and wife Dorothy, and sister Carol Feigle.
All of her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends will cherish memories of dear May forever. Everybody loved May-May!
Donations to your favorite animal charity or St. Jude's Hospital in May's memory will be welcomed.
Her graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Laurel Grove Cemetery, 295 Totowa Rd., Totowa, NJ 07512. Family will also be hosting a memorial service for May in Bergenfield, NJ at a later date.
