Mary D. Lohan

Mary (Devitt) Lohan, age 89, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, Nov. 18, 2013 at Chandler Hall Hospice. Born in Philadelphia, she had lived in Morrisville for 53 years.She began her career as an accounting clerk with the Pennsylvania Railroad. Mary also worked at Bake Rite Rolls in Bensalem for 20 years. She was a parishioner at St. John the Evangelist Church in Lower Makefield. Mary was also a former volunteer at St. Mary Medical Center and was a founding member of the Ladies of St. John. Her favorite pastime was knitting.Daughter of the late John and Marie (Carey) Devitt, wife of the late Edward J. Lohan, and grandmother of the late Eric Von Badins, she is survived by 5 children, Edward J. (and Jane) Lohan, Jr. of Riverton, NJ, Marianne (and James) Von Badins of Morrisville, Sean (and Cathy) Lohan of Wood Ranch, CA, Maureen Lohan of Palmyra, NJ, and Michael (and Anne) Lohan of Summit, NJ, 2 brothers, John P. (and Ann) Devitt of Norristown, PA and Edward Devitt, of Latrobe, PA, 5 grandchildren, Jennifer and Stefani Lohan, Kathryn Liebhaber, and Ryan and Matthew Lohan, 2 great grandchildren Lilly and Sienna Faulls and many nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at 2 PM on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Big Oak and Makefield Rds., Morrisville, PA. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Yardley.Friends may call from 1-2 PM at the Church on Thursday.
