Mary L. Ellis (thomas)

Mary L. (Thomas) Ellis, age 97, a 65 year resident of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Willow Lake Nursing Home in Willow Grove, PA. She was born in Princeton NJ to the late Christopher and Mary (Thompson) Thomas. Mary was a graduate of Trenton High School. She was and avid reader who enjoyed cooking. Mary was also a member of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church.Wife of the late Walter H. Ellis, Sr., she is survived by her daughter in law and son, Susan P. and Walter H. Ellis, Jr. of Warrington, PA, a lifelong friend J'ann Ellis, two grandchildren and their spouses Rebecca Lynn and Bennett Bullock of Richmond, VA and Elizabeth Joy and James DiTulio of Newtown, PA, two step-grandchildren and their spouses, Toni Lynn and Mark Koskiniemi of Tuscan, AZ and Robin Sue and Jeffrey Dowdy of Ocala, FL, and five great grandchildren, Adam Brautigan Espenshade, Savannah Elizabeth and Benjamin Noah Koskiniemi, Grace Anne DiTulio, and Walter Philip Dowdy.Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Monday, July 8, 2013 in the Hutchinson Memorial Chapel of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, 771 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA. The Rev. Dr. Ronald Rosenau, Pastor, will officiate. Interment will follow in Thompson Memorial Cemetery, New Hope, PA.Friends may call Sunday evening from 7-9 PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA 19067 (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com), and on Monday morning from 9:45 - 10:45 AM in the church lounge.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Mrs. Ellis' name be made to the Morrisville Presbyterian Church, 771 N.
