Martha E. Dorr

Martha E. (Walters) Dorr, 95, of Warminster, PA passed away peacefully on July 23, 2018. She was a 25 year resident in Beverly Hills, FL, followed by Mystic Island, NJ from 1964 to 1989, and moved to Warminster 4 years ago..

Martha was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 1, 1923, to the late Lewis Walters and Martha Gracey. She was married to the late Earl H. Dorr for a total of 72 years.  She was a homemaker and a lifelong Girl Scout leader in Philadelphia. In addition, Martha was a member of the First Baptist Church of Beverly Hills, and is a former member of the Westminster-Mayfair Presbyterian Church, where she was active in the Ladies Circle. In her spare time, she enjoyed weaving baskets and playing Rummy Cube. She also loved Disney World and was an avid Mickey Mouse fan.

Sister of the late Edna Adams and Ruth Walters, Martha is survived by her four daughters, Carolyn and John Heary of Warminster, PA, Barbara and John Phillips of Langhorne, PA, Kathleen and Henry Bevan of Cottage Grove, OR and Dr. Patricia Dorr of York, PA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren, five nephews and one niece.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 10:30-11:30am at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, located at 41 W Trenton Ave, Morrisville, PA 19067. Her Funeral Service will follow at 11:30am, officiated by the Rev. Daniel Thomas.  Interment shall take place at 1pm at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel in Morrisville, PA.
