Mabel L. Menei, a beloved member of the community, passed away peacefully at her home in Fairless Hills, PA, on January 6, 2026, at the age of 87.
Born in Trenton, NJ, Mabel led a rich and fulfilling life leaving behind sweet memories and a lasting impression on all who knew her. Mabel was an accomplished professional, who dedicated much of her career to selling real estate and providing clerical support for several tax executives. Her work ethic was matched only by her welcoming and kind spirit, making her a valued colleague and friend to many. She was a Pennsbury High School graduate and lived in Fairless hills for the last 53 years. Mabel took great pride in forming friendships at Morrisville United Methodist Church where she was actively involved, always eager to assist others in any way she could. In addition to her professional achievements, Mabel had a deep love for animals, particularly cats, and she also took in several dogs over the years, her connection with her furry companions brought her joy and comfort throughout her life.
Mabel is survived by her loving community and friends who will forever remember her laughter and kindness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mabel and William Solt, and her husband, James Menei, who passed away in 2012.
Her legacy will be honored at the Morrisville United Methodist Church, located at 501 West Maple Avenue, Morrisville, PA. Visitation will take place on Wednesday January 14, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. Mabel will then be interred at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA, following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Morrisville United Methodist Church, 501 W. Maple Ave, Morrisville, PA 19067.
She will be dearly missed, but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
Arrangements are under the direction of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
