Louis John Zeleskey Jr.

August 31, 1928 — February 16, 2018

Louis J. Zeleskey, Jr., 89 , went to heaven on Friday, February 16, 2018 to be eternally with his beloved wife, Mary, of 58 years. Lifelong area resident and parishioner of Holy Trinity Church of Morrisville, where he served many years as an usher. He was born on August 31, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA to Louis and Josephine Zeleskey. Louis was honored to have served his country in the 60th infantry of the army for 3 years as a Staff Sergeant. As a young adult, he worked in the round house as a fire lighter at PJP and West Virginia Rail Road. He attended Connely Vocational trade school to study Auto mechanics. Previously employed by Hudler, McCafferty and Haldeman as a mechanic. He also helped at Delaware Valley Bus Company. He retired to enjoy his hobbies in 1993. He was a trustee of teamsters #35 for 25 years. He was an avid beekeeper, starting the Keeper of the Bees of Bucks County and being a member of the Bucks County Beekeepers and Central NJ Bee clubs. He also enjoyed gardening and sharing his vegetables with friends and family.
Louis met his wife, Mary at a roller rink in Trenton and was married on August 25, 1951. As a young couple, they took their children of 4 on many trips of camping, in Florida, seeing Niagra Falls and the Smokey Mountains
Louis will be remembered by his surviving family. He had four loving children, Joann and Gregorios Fanarisios of Morrisville, PA, Judy Lynn and Jim Altmiller of Jacksonville, FL, Louis J. Zeleskey III of Lawndale, NC and Christine and Tom McAllister of Golden, CO. He had 8 cherished grandchildren, Tracy Anne, Victoria Lee, Lillian, Sofia, Gregory, Wesley, Jamie and Jullia and was blessed with 8 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his constant companion Chester the cat.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass of Christian burial on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 201 N Pennsylvania Ave, Morrisville, PA 19067. His interment will follow at Colonial Memorial Park in Hamilton, NJ.
Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21 at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel.
