Morrisville, PA

Lorraine Barbara Lyczak, born in Riverside, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025 at Cambridge Rehabilitation in Mooestown, NJ.

Lorraine was a loving individual whose life was a testament to warmth, resilience, and unwavering faith. A devoted Catholic, Lorraine found peace and comfort in her spirituality, often watching a daily Mass when her health prevented her from attending in person. Her faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her through the ups and downs of life. Lorraine adored reading Christian Romance books, watching Hallmark movies, playing cards, her puzzle games, or solitaire when ever she had free time.

She was an avid sports fan and was fond of the Phillies. She even played on the women's basketball team before she graduated Riverside Highschool in New Jersey. After graduating, when she was 18 she met the love of her life, Bernard, at her cousins wedding and got married later on and started a family. In her time of working she dedicated 20 years to New Jersey Manufacturing Insurance Company, where she performed clerical work in the office, making sure everything was organized and running smoothly. For over thirty years, Lorraine dedicated herself as a loving homemaker, nurturing her family with affection and comfort.. Lorraine wore many hats, but most of all she was extremely proud of her Polish heritage and celebrating her family’s history when ever she could.

Lorraine was predeceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Bernard Lyczak; her parents, Stella and Stanley Fierszt; her son, Jeffrey Lyczak;her brother, Stanley Fierszt; and her nephew, Paul Fierszt. Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Patty Weinberger and Susan Zamell and her husband, Stephen; and her daughter in law , Karen Yates. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, close friends, and extended relatives who will remember her kindness and warm smile.

As we remember Lorraine Barbara Lyczak, we celebrate a life richly lived, a loving family member, and a guiding light in the lives of many. Her legacy will continue to shine brightly in our hearts forever.
