Lisa Renee Lanctot, age 49, of Yardley, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, April 30, 2017 following a lengthy chronic illness. Born in Bristol, PA, Lisa was a lifelong area resident, except for several years in South Carolina. Lisa attended St. John the Evangelist Catholic School, and graduated from Pennsbury High School, Class of 1985. She also attended Bucks County Community College. Lisa was employed as a veterinary technician in Bucks County and Charleston, SC, and was also a certified massage therapist. She was a known devoted animal rescuer, volunteering at the AARK as well as raising and training seeing eye puppies for The Seeing Eye, Inc. in Morristown, NJ. She competed in horseback riding and dog training competitions at the 4-H Grange Fair. Lisa was also very proud to have helped support Tsitsi Mangwangwa for many years through World Vision, to help her receive education, job training, and financial security in her community in Zimbabwe. Beloved daughter of Denis W. and Noreen (Capozza) Lanctot of Yardley, PA, Lisa is also survived by her daughter Jessica J. Hunter of Yardley and her step-daughter Patience E. Hunter of Charleston, SC, and was very proud of both of them. She was also survived by her brothers David C. Lanctot of Levittown and Matt Lanctot of Canonsburg, PA, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.Memorial contributions in Lisa's name may be sent to World Vision International or The Seeing Eye Inc.
