Lawrence Wilcox

June 17, 1935 — December 31, 2018

Lawrence C. “Larry” Wilcox, age 83, of Morrisville, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton Twp., NJ. under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice.

Born in Morrisville, Larry was a lifelong Morrisville resident, graduating from Morrisville High School.  Mr. Wilcox had been employed with Vulcanized Rubber and Plastics for over 30 years.  He then worked for Mead Packaging and Tavo Packaging in Fallsington before working as a crossing guard at Grandview Elementary School for 17 years.  Larry enjoyed fishing, baseball, and football, was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, and enjoyed watching his grandson’s sporting events.

Son of the late Calvin and Mary (Gorman) Wilcox, he is survived by his loving wife Jean (Wolf) Wilcox, two daughters and sons-in-law Pam and Chris Jackson of Levittown and Wendy and Chris Crooch of Philadelphia, a brother and sister-in-law Jim and Evelyn Wilcox of Morrisville, three grandchildren Samantha Crooch and Trevor and Dylan Jackson, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 AM on Friday, January 4, 2018 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA.  The Rev. Wendy Bellis, Pastor of the Morrisville United Methodist Church, will officiate.  His interment will follow in Morrisville Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday morning from 10-11 AM at the funeral chapel.
