Kathy immediately moved to Colorado where she taught primary grades. Upon returning to NY she attained her Master's degree in Learning Disabilities and taught elementary students in Scarsdale, NY. She was a member of the Morrisville Presbyterian church for 43 years and served as deacon for many terms, sang in the choir, and worked on multiple committees. Known as “Squee” to family and “Marmie” to her grandchildren, she greeted each day as a wonderful gift. She smiled a lot and often told entertaining and humorous stories about her life adventures. She was interested in all people and liked to learn about their experiences, always helping others who needed assistance. Kathy was a big animal lover, her house always filled with precious pets. She was so fortunate to have traveled throughout the US as well as many foreign countries with her beloved Frank. Ever optimistic, Kathy approached every challenge with steadfast courage.
She wants to thank all the angels who have surrounded her with love and support. So many friends have provided meals to Erin and her family, said prayers, sent cards, drove her places, and arranged outings for lunch with wonderful members of the church. We have such gratitude for the loving and caring staff and friends she has lived with at Friend’s Village, Paxton Hall campus in Newtown, PA .
