Karen M. Wargo

Karen M. Wargo, born November 14, 1953, in Trenton, New Jersey, passed away on March 15, 2026, in Levittown, Pennsylvania. She was a remarkable woman known for her gentle and kind spirit, leaving a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Karen led a distinguished dual career, balancing her work as a medical transcriber with her dedication to the Diocese of Trenton. Her professional contributions reflected her reliable nature and commitment to service. She resided in Trenton until 1983 before relocating to Morrisville, Pennsylvania, where she continued to nurture her passions and relationships.

A lifelong lover of animals, Karen was especially fond of cats and took pleasure in feeding birds and squirrels, expressing a deep appreciation for the natural world. She was an enthusiastic supporter of the Philadelphia Phillies, demonstrating her vibrant interest in sports and community spirit. Her fondness for Christmas decoration spoke to her creative soul and her ability to bring warmth and joy to those around her.

Karen's memories included active participation in her faith community at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Trenton, reflecting her spiritual devotion. She was also known as the family historian, a role through which she preserved the narratives and heritage of her loved ones. Adding to her varied life experiences, Karen earned the distinction of runner-up in the Miss Guilford Park Swimsuit Contest, showcasing a lively and confident presence.

She is survived by several cherished family members: her nephew Ryan Sullivan; her niece Megan (Richard) Czyz; nephew Rory (Justine) Sullivan; brother-in-law Robert Sullivan; great nephew Malcom Czyz; and great nieces Victoria Sullivan, Meredith and Olivia Czyz, as well as Lana, Deva, Vera, and Isla Sullivan. Karen was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Michael Wargo; her mother, Helen Patricia Grochala Wargo; and her sister, Patricia Michelle Sullivan.

A graveside service to honor Karen’s memory will take place on March 24, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, located on Cedar Lane in Trenton, New Jersey.

Karen M. Wargo’s life was marked by kindness, dedication, and a profound love for family, faith, and community. Her legacy endures through the memories of those who knew and loved her.
