John J. Zackowski

John J. Zackowski, age 20, of Yardley, PA, passed away suddenly on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016. Born in Bristol, PA, John was a lifelong area resident.He was a graduate of Pennsbury High School, Class of 2014, where he was a member of the National Honor Society. He currently was a junior at Widener University, studying political science and psychology. At Widener, he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, where he served as President. John was also a member of the Widener Honor Society.Son of the late April (Cicco) Zackowski, he is survived by his father John Zackowski of Yardley, a brother Jason Zackowski, his paternal grandparents John and Patty Jo Zackowski, his maternal grandparents Joe and Marcia Cicco, his paternal great grandparents Richard and Marge Murphy, a maternal great grandmother Louise Cicco, as well as his fraternity brothers and extended friends and family.Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 12 noon on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016 at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA (www.hooperfuneralchapel.com). The Rev. Mnsgr. Joseph Prior, Pastor of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, will officiate. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Twp., NJ.Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-9 PM, and on Thursday morning from 11 AM - 12 noon at the funeral chapel.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in John's memory, may be sent to Diabetes Hands Foundation, www.diabeteshandsfoundation.org."Come to the Emperor's last party".
