Son of the late Louis Ricci and Lavinia (Padula) Ricci & uncle of the late Carl Steven Rushinski, II, he is survived by 2 sisters and brothers-in-law Lee Ricci and Jack Palumbo and Nancy Ricci and Carl Rushinski. John was a loving uncle to LeeAnn Rushinski Coleman & husband Kevin, Stefani Erin Palumbo Smith & husband Ron, Edward John Palumbo III, Maria Rushinski Hanley & Greg, Erin Coleman, Carly Coleman, Eric Rushinski, Olivia Smith
John loved fishing for baby sharks with his brother in laws, spending endless summers at the Poconos with family and, for 35 years, going to Wildwood Crest with his mom and family. John was an avid “family man” who never left anyone without a smile and a hug. He was a friend to all.
Johnny rode the special bus for many years with his friends Norma Jean and BethAnn all through school, later working at BARC & Growth Horizons. He later attended Beelong in Fallsington & Bristol until he joined the seniors at Life St. Mary, Trevose. John would wait for the hand of his bus driver, Jack, to walk to the bus. John later moved to Crestview Nursing Home, Langhorne,Pa. Our family would like to thank Penndel Mental Health, and The entire staff of Life St. Mary for their endless kindness and total navigation of his care until his last hour, as well as the Administration & entire staff of nursing, from dietary to CNA’S at Crestview, who became his last Angels. Thank you all CNA’S and Janele, Lisa & Kiera for being with Johnny in his last hours, holding his hand, where his family could not be.
Due to Covid19, services for John will be held privately for the convenience of the family.
