John Edward "Jack" Gancarz

John Edward “Jack” Gancarz, age 82 of Bristol, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2023 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Bristol, Jack lived in Morrisville for many years before moving back to Bristol for the past 55 years.
Mr. Gancarz was a graduate of Pennsbury High School, grew up on the family farm in Morrisville and worked as a truck driver for Markim Crane Rental, Amquip Corporation and Thackray Crane Rental.  Additionally, he worked as a welder for Waste Management.  Jack was a Mason with Fraternal Lodge # 139 F. & A.M.  His hobbies included woodworking, making toys for the kids and nativity scenes as well as gardening, being known for his incredible tomatoes.
Son of the late Julian and Sarah (Patterson) Gancarz and brother of the late George and James Gancarz and Alice Loch, he is survived by his loving wife Nancy (Haines) Gancarz, a daughter and son-in-law Julia Lynn and Ted Panajeotou of Burlington, NJ, a son and daughter-in-law George C. and Melissa “Missy” Gancarz of Yardley, a sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Arthur Titus of Delaware, five grandchildren and spouses Christopher and Megan Gancarz, Sarah Gregori, Allison and Tyler Zawierucha, Arianna and Nikolas Panajeotou, six great grandchildren Aiden, Naomi, Jennifer, Jon, Caleb and Isabella, and many nieces and nephews.
 Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Monday December 18, 2023, from 9:30 AM – 11 AM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA  19067.  His service will follow at 11 AM. 
Interment in Morrisville Cemetery will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
