Joan E. (Dreisbach) Coulton

Joan E. (Dreisbach) Coulton, age 83, of Levittown, PA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at her home.  Born in Morrisville, PA, Joan was a lifelong Lower Bucks County resident.

Mrs. Coulton was a member of the First Baptist Church of Morrisville, and enjoyed singing in the church choir when she was younger.  She loved to shop, enjoyed bowling, going to the shore and traveling.  Joan had been a member of the Pennsbury Band Boosters, the Fairless Hills Senior Citizens, and was a huge Mickey Mouse fan.  She was extremely devoted to her family, and truly loved “her girls”.

Daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Chewning) Dreisbach, and wife of the late Marvin E. “Marty” Coulton, she is survived by 4 daughters and 2 sons-in-law, Donna and Joseph Field of Doylestown, PA, Debbie A. Coulton and Alvaro Alonso de Cadenas of Madrid, Spain, Denise L. Crouse of Levittown, and Diane C. Coulton of Doylestown, her sister-in-law and best friend Olive Pellegrini, 4 grandchildren, Christina, Laura, Jamie, and Stacey, 7 great grandchildren, Charlee, Cale, Avalee, Alayna, Kayla, Colin, and Dezrae, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She will be especially missed by her daughter Denise and great granddaughter Charlee who have been living with her and taking care of her for many years as she struggled with Parkinson’s Disease.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 11 AM on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Morrisville, 50 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville, PA.  Reverend Gary Taylor, Pastor, will officiate.  Her interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday morning from 10-11 AM at the church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, Morrisville, PA.
